The Girls’ Network are looking for women, from all professions, to become mentors to support students across Merseyside, to overcome obstacles and seize opportunities.

Their mission is to inspire and empower girls from the least advantaged communities by connecting them with a mentor and a network of professional female role models.

The Girls’ Network partner with secondary schools and colleges across Liverpool City Region and the rest of the country, to match girls aged 14-19 with a female volunteer mentor.

Our innovation hub regularly hosts monthly meet-ups for The Girls’ Network and we have seen first hand how mentoring helps the students to develop practical skills and build their confidence.

Additionally, the mentor network of highly successful and inspiring women, across multiple sectors, helps to develop a pool of future female talent, which will benefit both the students and local economy.
