The Liverpool-based MedTech start-up is looking to hire local talent
Established two years ago by Moises Barbera Ramos, an international Physics Masters student from the University of Liverpool, in partnership with Dr. Javier Coloma, an established traumatologist at Spain’s Hospital Arnau de Villanova, Drill Surgeries Ltd was created to make healthcare more efficient.
Throughout this time, the company’s research and development work was undertaken within Sensor City, enabling them to work with different teams and companies, and receive support from the European Union, Hospitals, Medical professionals and local Universities.
Moises Barbera Ramos, CEO of Drill Surgeries Ltd, said: “We have always believed that the best ideas come from collaboration and we are looking forward to accelerating the next stage in our development by increasing the level of in-house collaboration through our recruitment drive.”
A number of technical roles are currently available which require expertise in Augmented Reality, electronics and embedded systems, with additional positions likely to become available in the near future.
The growth of the Drill Surgeries team will be facilitated by one of their earliest supporters, the University of Liverpool, who will help to attract current students, graduates and PhD researchers to apply.
The paid internship contracts will provide successful candidates with experience of working for a dynamic start-up, insight into health and MedTech innovation, as well as providing an outlet to apply research and development skills in a commercial setting.
Anyone interested in this opportunity should apply by sending their CV and a description of the type of work you see yourself doing at Drill Surgeries to: careers@drillsurgeries.com
