Hexsor Scientific Limited a key emerging player in specialty analytical instruments, measurement and sensor technology in UK, has become the latest addition to the Sensor City community.
The pioneering SME primarily focuses on the design, development and implementation of sensors and systems to assess contaminants in water, soil and air.
Hexsor Scientific Limited was co-founded by Dr. Jeyan Sreekumar, a doctorate and post-doctoral degrees holder from the University of Liverpool, who wants to contribute to the welfare of the environment.
Dr Sreekumar said: “I have spent the last ten years designing and manufacturing a comprehensive range of innovative spectroscopy and mass spectrometry systems to measure contaminants in the environment, which are sold mostly to big corporates in a number of different countries.”
“I am looking forward to becoming more emerged within the sensor technology environment at Sensor City, thanks to its on-site laboratories, technical events programme and convenient central location.”
Hexagon Scientific offers high quality and cost-effective scientific products to monitor environmental pollutions such as, heavy metals, volatile organic compounds, semi-volatile organic compounds and dissolved gases in water, soil and air.
These instruments are compact, lightweight, robust and truly portable on-site alternative to fixed-site laboratory analysis, which enable easy on-site analysis and decision making in real-time.
Dr Sreekumar added: “Taking up space within Sensor City will allow me to develop my products further and make new connections with like-minded businesses and talented university graduates.”
Hexagon Scientific’s next generation analytical instruments will be suitable for markets which demand the highest standards of engineering quality and reliability, offering domestic and internationally recognised analysis for a wide range of applications, from the trace to high concentrations of contaminants.
