This annual event is hosted by LCR 4.0 at Sensor City in partnership with Liverpool John Moores University and Wurth Electronics.

In this technical workshop, we will be sharing fundamentals of EMC, ways to identify various noise sources, cover emissions and immunities. More importantly you will learn how to solve EMC before it becomes impossible.

Along with EMI, you will gain ideas about ESD, EFT and Surge protection. As a matter of hot topic we are going to show some demos of wireless power transfer and divulge secrets of how to get WPC right the first time.

Then we will give you an insight of horticultural lighting, discuss pros and cons of system design and perhaps be hands-on practical.

Throughout day you can expect many diagrams, several mathematical formulas, simulation modelling, and our interactive component selection tool. Lots of brain power will be required, so we have planned regular breaks with healthy food and drinks.

The workshop will consist of two main sessions:

  • 9:30am – 11:30am > Part 1- EMC / ESD Circuit Protection
  • Lunch
  • 1:30pm – 3:30pm > Part 2 – Wireless Charging / LED

Seats are limited and free for pre-registered candidates.

Please note, the registration deadline has now been extended to 13th November.
