Event details

This is an opportunity for people across both industry and academia to discuss ideas and prospects for research and innovations relating to environmental monitoring.

We are looking to explore synergies between different sectors to see if existing products could be adapted to new applications.

Can we apply ‘smart home’ technology to ‘smart meadows’? Or use vehicle tracking devices to track bees?

This event will facilitate collaboration and explore synergistic opportunities between attendees, who will have a wide range of specialisms from a mix of sectors.

Who should attend?

Anyone interested in the co-creation of new products and technologies for environmental monitoring, including those with experience in IoT, optics, sensors, tracking applications, software development, smart buildings and wireless monitoring.

Why attend?

Companies and entrepreneurs attending will benefit from meeting leading academics in the field, who can provide access to research data, PhD students and product testing.

Academics and students attending will have the opportunity to meet industry experts who are developing innovative products and services, and may be able to apply your research in practice or suggest alternative ways of working.
