Digital Manufacturing Week is returning to the Liverpool City Region in November 2018 and we will be hosting a launch event to celebrate!

The 2017 event saw four days of exhibitions, tours, round tables and networking. BBC Breakfast even broadcast live from the Invest Liverpool stand which showcased some of the best innovation the city has to offer. The 2017 events saw figures including:

  • 3968 expo visitors
  • 613 conference delegates
  • 118 exhibitors

This year will see 6000+ visitors to Digital Manufacturing Week at the Manufacturing Leaders Summit, The Manufacturer Top 100 report launch, and the ceremony and gala dinner for the announcement of the biggest prizes in UK manufacturing, The Manufacturer MX Awards.

Now it’s time for the Liverpool City Region launch!

Steve Rotheram, the Liverpool City Region Metro Mayor, has agreed to provide the opening address before the team from The Manufacturer outline the exciting plans for this year. Other speakers will be announced over the coming days.

We’re just 10 minutes walk from Liverpool Lime Street station and the closest car park is Mount Pleasant Car Park (38 Mount Pleasant).

Dr Joanne Phoenix will welcome delegates to the £15m University Enterprise Zone and explain how the facility can help manufacturing companies to adopt industrial digital technologies. Also joining us will be Michelle Dow, Managing Director of All About STEM who will discuss how young people can get involved in Digital Manufacturing Week and help inspire the next generation of digitally enhanced engineers. Finally Erika Rushton, Chair of the Baltic CIC and recently awarded the Transformational Leader Award at the Northern Power Women Awards , will discuss the Openmaker programme and how the maker community can challenge the status quo of supply chain orthodoxy.
